Art show and live laser engraving

Use YOUR FEAR AS FUEL

Bad news. You can't conquer your fears. But they can fuel your greatest passions and achievements – if you're willing to acknowledge them and get comfortable with doubt.

During this exhibit, attendees were invited to have their greatest fear laser engraved onto a piece of wood – and then burn it in a bonfire.

CONTRIBUTING ARTISTS:

BRIAN THOMPSON
Brian is a creative director and entrepreneur. The idea for this show began when he laser engraved one of his fears each day for 100 days. All 100 of the resulting pieces will be on display and then burned at the close of the exhibit.

BOB SCHNEIDER
Bob is a singer, songwriter and artist. His paintings and collages combine cultural ephemera and are available through Yard Dog. His albums are available on iTunes, Google Play, Amazon and at your favorite record store.

RYAN HAMRICK
Ryan is a letterer, designer, writer and speaker. His varied experience gives him a unique and knowledgable view on solving problems with beautiful, effective design. People also find it helpful to ask him about whiskey.

JAMES VICTORE
James is an artist, educator, and designer for brave clients. His work has been exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and is in the permanent collections of museums around the globe. Check out his series on creative courage

BECKY SIMPSON
Becky is an illustrator, author and founder of Chipper Things, an online store offering art and more celebrating the simple things in life through a cheerful lens. She was also one of the first two Adobe Creative Residents.

M. BRADY CLARK
Brady is a graphic designer who makes posters, apparel, merchandise and various other designerish things. His passion for doing so is only rivaled by the deep affections he bestows upon tacos and BBQ.
